About Mamawii Indigenous Health and Care Society
Mamawii Indigenous Health and Care Society is a Métis-led non-profit organization committed to strengthening health, wellness, and community wellbeing through culturally safe, inclusive, and community-centred approaches to care.
Grounded in the values of connections, respect, collaboration, and belonging, Mamawii recognizes that health extends beyond medical care and includes social, emotional, mental, cultural, and community wellbeing. We believe stronger communities are built through meaningful relationships, accessible supports, and services that honour people's identities, experiences, and voices.
Through community engagement, partnership, and Indigenous-led initiatives, Mamawii works to support healthier futures while helping create spaces where individuals and families feel welcomed, heard, and respected.
